    Release Parties: (i) Francis Rosson, formerly of Birmingham [Warwickshire], now of Goodmans Fields [Middlesex], gunsmith; Henry Rosson of Hatton Garden [City of London], baker (devisees in trust under will of Thomas Rosson, formerly of Woburn, victualler, deceased]; (ii) Belinda Rosson of Aspley Guise, spinster (devisee under the will of Thomas Rosson); (iii) Mary Rosson, widow of Thomas Rosson; (iv) James Rosson of Aspley Guise (devisee under the will of Thomas Rosson); (v) Ann Mountain, late of Bedford, now of Torquay [Devon], widow; (vi) William Rosson of Aspley Guise; (vii) Charles Henry Lovell of Grays Inn [Middlesex], gentleman (trustee for (vi)) Reciting: - will of Thomas Rosson of 18 Nov 1834 devising all his freehold estate (and leasehold which, however, he sold in his lifetime) to his sons (i) upon trust to pay to his daughter (ii) £15 per annum for the widowhood of his wife (iii) and allow (iii) to receive the residue of the rents and profits; after the remarriage or death of (iii), (ii) was then to receive the rents and profits for her life, remainder, on her death, to his son (iv) for his life, after his death then to (i) in trust for sale; - death of Thomas Rosson on 9 Feb 1844 and proof of his will, now affected by the mortgage recited below, on 3 May 1844 in PCC; - Z1278/2/4/3 - the mortgage was not repaid and the sum of £200 was still outstanding along with £24/11/8 unpaid interest; - (v) now required the mortgage monies; - Thomas Rosson left a very small personal estate inadequate to redeem the mortgage Operative Part: - (i), by direction of (v) and with the consent of (ii)-(iv) conveyed (a) to (vi) for £224/11/8 paid to (v) and £5/8/4 paid to (i); - (vi) released (c)-(e) to (i) Property: (a) land in Aspley Guise measuring 48 feet along the road from Aspley Guise to Woburn and along the inner side next to the garden of Francis and Henry Rosson in occupation of Mrs.Croot and 22 feet in width being part of (a) in Z1278/2/4/2; with cottage erected on part of the land adjoining the road and in occupation of William Rosson; (b) land in Aspley Guise measuring 150 yards on the NE side and 187 yards on the SW, 66 yards on SE and 52 yards on NW and containing 2 acres late in occupation of John West, then Thomas Rosson, now John Asbee [sic] bordering: land of Thomas Rosson and land of Thomas King, both purchased from Richard Thomas How [see Z1278/2/4/1] on NE; highway from S end of Husborne Crawley to highway from Aspley Guise to Woburn on SE ; land of Richard Thomas How on SW and NW; (c) land in Aspley Guise measuring 27 feet on NE, 24 feet on SE, 22 feet on SW and 24 feet on NW and containing 3 perches with two cottages standing thereon in occupation of Chapman and Forster and all other land noted as (a) in Z1278/2/4/2; (d) piece of land in Aspley Guise measuring 72 yards on SW, 46 yards on NE, 15 yards on SE and 39 yards on NW and containing half an acre as described in (a) in Z1278/2/4/1 but less (a) above; (e) three cottages and a barn erected on (d) by Thomas Rosson in occupation of Mary Rosson, Robertson, Crewt [sic] and John Asbee Habendum: - to (vi) discharged from any mortgage debt, to uses appointed by (vi), to use of (vi) for life, to use of (vii) during the life of (vi) upon trust for (vi) to bar dower, to use of (vi) for ever Witnesses: - William Harland, clerk to John Green, solicitor of Woburn; - Frederick James Abbot; - Charles W.Lovell of Grays Inn Belinda Rosson signed by mark
