Married 12 years earlier in St. Pauls. 3 months after their marriage "he was Guilty of a Misdn. and a Warrant was issued agst. him but he escaped from Justice". 7 years after this he was sent back "by a Justices pass" to Carlton, where he and his wife were relieved, she going to live there. Her husband went away again and she not hearing from him for a further five years married Jn. Whittamore, St. Pauls, shoemaker.
