Jn. Newman. Aged 68; born Marston; about 46 years previously had lived as a hired servant for 1 year with Thos. Randal of St. Paul, husbandman; now lives in a house in St. Pauls given to him about 36 years ago by Wm. Kemp, his wife's father. Examination of Jn. Williamson of Biddenham on dorse. About 50 years ago Jn. Newman lived as a hired servant for a year with Laurance Williamson & his widowed mother in Ravensden, and after that for 2 years at Ravensden Grange. Further statement by John Newman; he also lived at Keysoe for a year and gained a settlement there before coming to Bedford.
