They found William Cannon, Labourer of Girtford and Alfred Munns, Labourer of Potton making a disturbance with three or four others. Arthur Usher, about 14 years old, pulled off his coat and squared up to a woman who was there and swore at her. He then squared up to Odell. Odell made a stroke at him with his open hand and Cannon struck him in the head. Both Munns and Cannon began striking Odell, knocking him down and catching hold of his throat. Laws pulled Odell away and he ran into Mrs Huckle's cottage. Munns and Cannon tried to force the door open. Each Fined 10/6. Costs 9/6 or 14 days
