  • Title
From T.Hine to W.T.Nash Subject. Kimpton "I have had more than ordinary trouble in this affair... Having been referred by the Company's solicitors unto four different parties who were to arrange matters with me, and having in consequence to drive my horse and chaise more than 100 miles to meet Mr.Woolley, Mr.Heard and ultimately yourself, before I could ascertain who was to act on their behalf, and you are aware that it was only at my second or third interview with you that I was apprised that in as much as the landlord's claim had not been settled this claim must be deferred.....Owing to these untoward circumstances and the more than ordinary trouble I have subsequently had in the matter you must know that the Company's usual allowance will not half-pay me. "P.S. Let me know your very lowest charge for disposing of a plot of land and some eight or ten cottages, value about £750 or £800 altogether."
