    Assignment of residue of term of 1,000 years Parties: (i) Thomas Judkins Clarke of Bishopsgate Church Yard, London, gentleman (administrator of John Chibnall's goods and chattels); (ii) Jonathan Barrett of Croydon [Surrey], esquire; (iii) Joseph Procter of Bishopsgate Street Without, London, snuff manufacturer; (iv) Thomas Procter of The Hoo, Great Gaddesden [Hertfordshire], gentleman Reciting: - mortgage by demise for 1,000 years of 29 Jan 1791 in which Thomas Meacher borrowed 250 from Stamp Garrard secured on Duke's Head Heath & Reach by description of cottage formerly divided into two dwellings with close, pightle or orchard adjoining of 1 acre formerly in occupation of Susannah Howe and William Brightwell for many years afterwards in occupation of Benjamin Sear, then John King then Thomas Culverhouse, in Heath, Leighton Buzzard, abutting: messuage formerly of Charles Vaux, then Hon.Charles Leigh then Rev.Thomas Leigh in occupation of John King S; cottage late of Francis Tompkins, then Thomas Fountain N; street W; - numerous conveyances but ultimately Lease & Release and Assignment of 13-14 Apr 1810 in which Thomas Meacher purchased the premises with John Chibnall as his trustee for the residue of term of 1,000 years; - numerous conveyances but ultimately that of 2-3 Jul 1832 [(XXXI) in Z1118/1/21/11] in which William Bennett conveyed Duke's Head to Samuel Reeve; - will, codicils, death and proof of will of Samuel Reeve and deed poll by William Exton disclaiming executorship and trusteeship leaving (ii) as sole executor and trustee of will of Samuel Reeve; - Lease & Release of 29-30 Oct 1845 in which premises were conveyed by (ii) to (iii); - will, death and proof of will of John Chibnall and subsequent death of his executors and trustees; - appointment of (i) as administrator of goods and chattels of John Chibnell [see Z1118/1/17/3] Operative Part: - (iv) paid 10/- to (i); - (i), at request of (ii), conveyed residue of term of 1,000 years to (iv) Habendum: - to (iv) in trust for (iii) Witnesses: - Arthur Ashfield and Joseph Woodman of Leighton Buzzard, solicitors
