By Thomas Reide, Captain in the Loyal Essex Regiment of Fencible Infantry, and dedicated to the Hon. Colonel Horatio Walpole and officers of the West Norfolk Militia, London, 7th March 1795. Inscription on front endpaper: 'Richd. Orlebar Bedford Regt Danbury Camp 1795'. The original paper covers of the volume have been retained but it was rebound in black cloth c 1950? and tooled in gold on the front cover: 'Loaned to the Regt. Museum by Capt. R.A.B. Orlebar late 3rd Btn. The Bedfordshire Regt.'
