3/10/16: Orlencourt 10.15 pm - The Battalion left ORLENCOURT and proceeded via NARQUAY to entrain at LIGNY-ST.FLOCHEL Station. Arrived ACHEUX Railhead at 1 pm. (4.10.16) and proceeded to billets at LEALVILLERS 6/10/16: Hedeauville 11 am - Proceeded to HEDEAUVILLE where the Battalion remained one night, afterwards proceeding to Front Line Trenches via MAILLY MAILLET (White City) 8/10/16: White City 10 am - Occupied the Line from 8.10.16 to 11.10.16. The Battalion on our left being the 7th RF and that on the right thr Royal Sussex Regiment. Took over from 1st HLI 11/10/16: Mailly Maillet 12 Noon - On huts and tents in MAILLY WOOD until 16.10.16 16/10/16: Arqueves 3.30 pm - Left MAILLY WOOD and arrived ARQUEVES at 6.30pm. BILLETS 17/10/16: Lealvillers 1 pm - left ARQUEVES and arrived LEALVILLERS at 2 pm. BIVOUACS 18/10/16: Puchevillers 10 am - Left LEALVILLERS and arrived at PUCHVILLERS via ARQUEVES and RAINCHEVAL at 3 pm. HUTS 21/10/16: Varennes 9 am - Left PUCHVILLERS and arrived at VARENNES at 1 pm via HARPONVILLE. HUTS 30/10/16: Varennes 9.20 am - The Battalion proceeded via ENGLEBELMER to GABION Evenue and KNIGHTSBRIDGE arriving there at 11 am and took over front line trenches Left Sub-section from 1st R[oyal] M[arine] L[ight] I[nfantry] 1 Company being left in ENGLEBELMER in billets [B.Loder, captain, for Major Commanding]
