Copy of section of Keysoe terrier, obtained in 1794, relating to tithes, being an account of tithes made in 1712 by George Tooley, Vicar and Abraham Barber and Richard Newman, churchwardens, Henry Haines, Matthew Stock, Richard Stapleton and others
The terrier lists various tithes for payment and notes money payments for the following pieces of land:
- closes called Berry fields which paid 13/4 in lieu of all tithes;
- Mr.Lister's closes belonging to Corpus Christi College, Oxford paid 13/4 per annum;
- Ellington Fields; Silbys Closes; Cunny Grays; Legsdens Close; Priesling; Stubshome; Little Churchyard; Marshalls Closes
