Letter from John Garrard to Joseph Browne: "I enclose to you the note of hand of Eyles [WL1000/1/Chell1/20] & the Memorandum of deposit [WL1000/1/Chell1/19] both altered by him for £240. You can send me Mr.Rogers' note of hand with an acknowledgement that the principal & int is paid indorsed on it.I have got the deeds. You may retain that undertaking of mine until you receive them. I hope you are well again".
