    Richard Hassyllwod/Haselwod made 7 Dec. 1552, pr. 8 Jan. 1552/3. "I gyve and bequeth my solle to allmyghty god my maker and faythfully beleve to be savyd by the merits of Crystys Passyon". Burial in the churchyard of Langford. To the poor man's box 4d.. Son William to have the house where testator dwells with the appurtenances for 10 years, paying yearly to son Richard 20s., and keeping the house in repair. At the end of the 10 years the house to go to son Riuchard and his heirs. To son Richard 2 quarters of barley. To daughter Jone a new cupboard, the greatest pan, the greatest pot but one, two "key" [?kine], 6 quarters of barley, a silver spoon, and half his household stuff. To William Hassyllwod son of Richard Hassyllwod and to Annys Hassyllwod and to Kateryne Basse a silver spoon each. To testator's daughter Elisabeth 2 sheep and a coffer. To son William the greatest pot and an old cupboard. Residue to son William, sole executor. Witnesses Thomas Eston, gent., William Dymbylton vicar of Langford, John Wallys.
