Draper to Frederick Robinson Sold lease to Mr. Devon. Income from legacy totals £410 17.3., accounts enclosed. Delay in selling lease meant paying near £10 taxes. Mr. Devon has paid for repairs at £250, disappointed not able to make alterations intended for fear of house falling. Will purchase £500 of 3% annuities before the next dividend is due, in addition to the £1,000 already held. Sends essence of pearl, Baldwin's pocket book, and Dr. Beatties' Essays.
