    Draper to Grantham At last balance in hands in Grantham's favour, £495 10.6d. Nesbit has enough in hand, with addition £200, to pay bills till end March. Mr. Palmer paid to last Michelmas, Mr. Ashby to 8 September. With receipt of another quarter by March, will be able to lay out whatever sum necessary for Sir Norton ("for I fear it must be done") without using Frederick Robinsons account. Will then be able to lay out greater part of Frederick Robinson's money "in the funds". Lord Harcourt able to clear Irish arrears because troops sent from there to America no longer a charge on the Irish establishment. Hopes not necessary send yet more troops to America, "and that the success upon Lake Champlain joined to those of General Howe will soon bring about a proper reconciliation."
