    Will of John Crossley [Croaseley] alias Anthony of Aspley Guise, husbandman "sicke of body": - devising to his mother [-in-law?], Anne Smith, all those rooms in her occupation, being part of the dwellinghouse in which he lived, for the term of her life and, after her death, to his eldest son Richard Crossley alias Anthony when he became 21 for the residue of the term of the lease [presumably the term in WL1000/1/AG/1/1]; - devising to his wife Deborah Crossley alias Anthony his parcel of sweard ground in Water Furrows, Aspley Guise and containing half an acre for the remaining term of years of the lease; with power to demise to maintain the children provided she gave up her thirds in the rest of his estate to their son Richard when he became 21; - devising to Deborah the rest of his dwellinghouse until Richard became 21 when it should devise to him for the remainder of the lease; within one year of Richard taking possession he should pay Deborah £5 provided she yielded her right and title to him; - bequeathing £5 each to Mary Crossley alias Anthony, John Crossley, Edward Crossley and Deborah Crossley when they became 21; - residue of his estate to his wife Deborah, whom he made sole executrix; - his friends Edward Worster and Laurance Crawley, both of Aspley Guise, to be overseers of his will; - witnesses: Robert Byworth; William Tilcocke, Francis Lawson Proof of will in Archdeaconry Court of Bedford on 15 May 1685
