Mr Cole at Flitton has decided to give up his farm because of the high poor rate, and Mrs Whitbread of Upbury is also retiring from her farm in Pulloxhill. He has also looked at the late Mrs Reed's house and hopes to find a suitable tenant. Also mentions the church is making progress, and all enquiries regarding books should be directed to Mary.
