    Mary, Newby Hall to Amabel, Wrest Park She chaperoned Miss Thompson at York Races, and describes the balls and parties. Complains she was not invited to Castle Howard, however she was invited to Harewood. Discusses her correspondence from Frederick, as she received a letter from him from Inverness, (see L 30/13/20/6). Discusses the places he visited, including, the Fall of Fyers; Cromarty Bay; and Cairn Gorm. Also discusses Tom's last letter, dated at Iverdum. He left Berne, and travelled to Morat, Avenches and Fribourg. Includes details of his descriptions of the towns, including the surrounding landscape, buildings and inhabitants.
