    Settlement: Parties: (i) William Paxton of Eaton Socon, grocer and Fanny, his wife (née Fanny Fairey); (ii) John Paxton of St.Neots, clock and watch maker Reciting: - will of Samuel Fairey the elder, late of St.Neots, draper of 26 Feb 1828 devising all real estate in St.Neots purchased from John Day and in occupation of Foundy[?] Maddox, his daughter Ann Carr and Matthew Sharman to his three granddaughters Ann, Fanny and Elizabeth, daughters of his son James, deceased; - Samuel Fairey died and his will was proved in Archdeaconry of Huntingdon on 15 Jan 1829; - Elizabeth Fairey died in Apr 1834 under age 21; - Fanny Fairey married William Paxton Operative Part: - (i) conveyed (a) to (ii) for 10/- Property: (a) share in three messuages and piece of ground in St.Neots formerly in occupation of Richard Franklin and Rachael Newman, since Thomas Jaques and others, after Ann Carr and Foundy Maddox, late Joseph Fairey, Matthew Sharman and Miss Duncombe, now John Norman, Samuel Mason, John Pettifor and Mrs.Howard, bounded: house and ground of Mrs.Fairey W; house and orchard of devisees of Mrs.Wiles E; street N; brook S - to (ii) subject to mortgage [see WL1000/7/STNE/2/16] to use of anyone appointed by (i) to use of Fanny Paxton for her life to use of William Paxton for his life to use of any child of (i) to use of William Paxton for ever Witnesses: - Octavius Robert Wilkinson; - John Beedham Indorsed with acknowledgement of examination of Fanny Paxton
