Grantham, St. James's to Fitzherbert, Paris (No 22, copy) King "feels the greatest satisfaction at the Exchange of the Ratification, as it is an Epoch at which the great object of Peace, the Cessation of Hostilities begins". The Proclamation will be issued for that purpose forthwith. Tomorrow the Marquis of Carmarthen will be appointed to the Embassy to the Court of Versailles. Mr Fawkener will be appointed Secretary.
