The argument of retaining Trincolmale' in the same way as Spain keeps Minorca is "unanswerable". The perseverance of France in regard to Dominica is "very serious". A separate dispatch is being sent that will enable Fitzherbert to show the French Ministers that "every principle of equality" entitles Great Britain to Dominica.
