Walpole is to assure the British factory that the commercial interests of His Majesty's subjects will receive every assistance possible. The Vice-Roy of the Brazils has shown "great humanity" to the officers and men of the convoy which landed at Rio de Janeiro on their way to India. Walpole is to inform M. de Sa of the "great satisfaction" of the King on this matter.
