Lieut.W.J.Holbrook M.C. to Field Ambulance - Sick. Relieved by the 20th Bn.K.L.R. The Battalion then moved forward to relieve the 17th Bn. K.L.R. in the DENY'S WOOD SUPPORT AREA. Casualties: - Nil 8 Nov 1917 Battalion in DENY'S WOOD SUPPORT AREA. Lieut.Colonel C.H.de St.P.Bunbury rejoined from Hospital. 1 Other Rank wounded. 9 Nov 1917 Battalion in SUPPORT AREA. Sick wastage: - 4 Other Ranks. 10 Nov 1917 Battalion in SUPPORT AREA. Casualties: - 2 O.R. wounded (1 remaining at duty) 2nd Lieut.A.F.Aldridge and 34 Other Ranks rejoined from 200 Field Company R.E. Sick wastage: - 5 Other Ranks 11 Nov 1917 Battalion in SUPPORT AREA. The Battalion moved at dusk and took up the following dispositions: - "D" Coy. relieved "A" Coy. in ROSE WOOD. "A" Coy. relieved a Company of the 17th Bn.K.L.R. holding the Right Front Line Sub-Sector. "B" Coy. were relieved by a Company of 10th Bn.L.N.Lancs, 37th Division and then relieved a Company of the 17th Bn.K.L.R. in RAVINE. "C" Company moved their Headquarters and 2 Platoons to DENY'S WOOD H.Q. "B" Company relieved the Liaison Post in GREEN WOOD and No.1.POST with 2 Lewis Guns. Casualties: - 1 O.R. killed. 2 O.R. died of wounds 8 O.R. wounded 12 Nov 1917 - Chinese Wall, Green Wood, Ravine and front line near Hollebeke Battalion in dispositions as on the 11th. Casuatlies: - 1 Other rank wounded. "C" and "D" Coys in SUPPORT AREA were relieved at dusk by 2 Companies of 59th Bn.Australians and then moved back to RESERVE at CHINESE WALL. 13 Nov 1917 "C" & "D" Companies at CHINESE WALL. "A" Company in Front Line Right Sub-Sector "B" Company in RAVINE. Casualties: - Nil. 14 Nov 1917 - Chinese Wall "C" & "D" Companies at CHINESE WALL. "A" & "B" Companies were relieved by 2 Companies of 59th Bn. Australians. After relief Battalion Headquarters and "A" & "B" Companies marched to CHINESE WALL. Relief complete 10.20 p.m. Casualties: - Nil 15 Nov 1917 - Doncaster Huts, Lokker Battalion at CHINESE WALL. At 2.0 p.m. the Battalion marched to DONCASTER HUTS (M.29.a.2.9) LOCRE arriving at 4.30 p.m. Casualties: - Nil 16 Nov 1917 Battalion at Doncaster Huts, LOCRE. At 9.0 a.m. the Battalion embussed for the STEENVOORDE AREA WEST and debussed on the main STEENVOORDE - CASSEL Road at P.4.d.9.2. at 12.30 p.m. The Battalion then marched to the new billeting area and took over billets as follows:- Battalion H.Q. J.30.c.6.1. "A" Company J.22.d.6.0. "C" Company J.22.d.6.7. "B" Company J.29.d.0.2. "D" Company J.30.c.6.5. 2nd Lieut.P.A.Page joined from Base. 17 Nov 1917 Battalion in dispositions as on 16th.
