    Parties: (i) John Thomas Green of Woburn, gentleman; (ii) Susanna Morris, Mary Jane Morris and Sophia Morris, all of Ampthill, spinsters Reciting: - 4/5ths of (z)-(cs) were subject to mortgage debt of 10,000 (balance of sum of 30,000 - see WB/M/4/1/1) with interest at 4.5% payable to John Thomas Green and Richard Orlebar secured by indentures of 27-28 Dec 1831; - (h)-(s), (u)-(v) and (z)-(cs) were subject to mortgage debt of 3,000 (balance of two mortgage debts of 5,000 and 7,000) with interest at 4.5% payable to John Green secured by lien of 1 Jul 1853 and indenture of 1 Apr 1857; - (a)-(cs) were subject to mortgage debt 3,000 (balance of debts of 10,000 and 6,500) with interest at 5% payable to Maria Dale Smith and John Green secured by indentures of 1 May 1857 and 15 Jan 1858; (c) small piece of ground at Lidlington, part of toft on which cottage formerly stood and orchard or backside belonging of 16ft width N-S and 28ft 6in length E-W purchased from John Cook and conveyed to John Morris senior on 13 Apr 1843; (d) small piece of land at Shelton End, Marston Moretaine containing 20 poles adjoining Chequers purchased from William Smith and conveyed to John Morris senior on 18 Aug 1848; (e) piece of land or garden ground in Pulloxhill, part of orchard or garden formerly occupied by Manor House and containing 45 poles purchased from Trustees of John Abbott, deceased and conveyed to John Morris senior on 14 Dec 1848; (f) site on which 3 cottages stood in Salford near Swan (formerly White Horse) purchased from Benjamin Agutta and conveyed to John Morris senior on 5 Jul 1841; (g) cottage at Keeley End, Wootton with adjoining carpenter's shop, pigstyes and cart shed and small plot of land at back on 69ft length and 38ft breadth purchased from William Higgs and conveyed to John Morris senior on 19 May 1849; (h) Black Bull, Barton-le-Clay purchased from messrs Pierson and others and conveyed to John Morris senior on 29 Sep 1842; (i) George, Maulden, with yard, garden, outbuildings etc. adjoining which, altogether, measured 1a 0r 39p which was purchased from messrs Pierson and others and conveyed to John Morris senior on 29 Sep 1842; (j) Queens Head, St.Neots [Huntingdonshire] with corn shops, stabling etc. purchased from John Hill Day and conveyed to John Morris senior on 23 Oct 1840 (k) copyhold inn called Plough, Hexton [Hertfordshire] with barns, stables, outhouses, yards, orchards, gardens, half cow common, paths, passages, waters, watercourses, fences, rights, liberties, privileges, easements, profits, advantages etc. within Manor of Hexton late in occupation of Thomas Barber, now Richard Vass bounded: N and W by premises of Packs; S by premises of Hitchin Charity; E by public way; to which Sophia Morris was admitted tenant; (l) plot of land in Well Street, alias Midland Road, Bedford being part of Dovehouse Close alias Friars Walk Close measuring 56ft E, 50ft W, 90ft N with 4 cottages (3 converted into a beerhouse known as Engine & Tender) with right of way over Priory Street at E end of premises leading out of Well Street and purchased from Thomas Smith, conveyed to John Morris senior on 29 Sep 1853; (n) Sun, Felmersham, with stable, barn and orchard adjoining purchased from William Fisher Palmer and conveyed to John Morris senior on 20 Jun 1839; (o) site of messuage in two tenements, three cottages and three other cottages and workshop in Husborne Crawley with yards and gardens formerly belonging with that part now known as White Horse and two cottages, stables and outbuildings adjoining purchased from Ebenezer Clarke and conveyed to John Morris senior on 3 Apr 1840; (p) Moretaine Arms, Marston Moretaine with stables, outbuildings etc. some time since erected on piece of land of 0a 2r 14p adjoining railway line from Bedford to Bletchley, purchased from John Alington and conveyed to John Morris senior on 23 Jun 1847; (q) piece of land, part of close of arable called The Breach, Maulden containing 0a 3r 10p purchased from Trustees of John Abbott, deceased and conveyed to John Morris on 10 Feb 1854; (r) two messuages now occupied as one tenement and used as beerhouse, in Maulden with gardens belonging containing 0a 1r 35p purchased from Joshua Croxford and conveyed to John Morris senior on 28 Feb 1850; (s) messuage at Tebworth, Chalgrave called Shoulder of Mutton with sites of two former tenements and garden ground purchased from James Whinnett and conveyed to John Morris senior on 16 Oct 1849 (t) Saracen's Head, Bedford, St.John with buildings, yards, gardens etc. held by lease for lives of James Barnes, Albert Edward, Prince of Wales and Prince Alfred Ernest Albert at rent of 10/- per annum; (u) copyhold messuage and garden, brewhouse, wood barn etc. in Blunham abutting W on Black Lane with frontage of 87ft; used as retail beershop and known as Wheatsheaf formerly in occupation of Henry Clarke; with piece of land forming gateway and N side of yard; (v) copyhold messuage called New Inn, Clophill with barn, stables, buildings, yards, orchard and piece of meadow adjoining formerly in occupation of John Day, then Elizabeth Hindell, then James Horn, then John Sharpe, now George Sharp, cottage used as workhouse E and highway from Ampthill to Shefford N, river S;
