Educational scheme formulated. 2 Dec 1918 Coy Comdr Conference to arrange final detail of education scheme. Harness taken for cleansing At 1100 instruction received from Brigade that the Battn would probably embark on the 4th 1200 Marching out state called for. 1400 received lists of Vehicles & Animals to be handed over before embarkation. 2150 Administrative instruction received for Embarkation 3 Dec 1918 Order No.6 issued. Tents struck. Surplus baggage stacked 4 Dec 1918 Battn passed starting point 0747, Embarked at 1000 on the "Ellengar" Sailed 1700 Party of Transport Officer & 48 ORs left to bring on Transport 5 Dec 1918 - at sea On board 6 Dec 1918 - Kantara Disembarked at "KANTARA", marched f0r 3/4 of an hour torest camp on Ismailia road, arriving at 0830. At 1930 Bn marched to KANTARA Station entrained for HELMEIH [sic] 7 Dec 1918 - Helmieh Bn arrived at HELMEIH at 0400, laying & marking out of the Camp 8 Dec 1918 A few tents & small quantity of camp equipment drawn & draft of 1 officer & 255 arrived from KANTARA 9 Dec 1918 A Draft of 63 ORs.
