D.Coy sent to R.E. Farm, KEMMEL for attachment to R.E. for work. Lieut.D.M.SAUNDERS rejoined from hospital.

Visit of H.M. the King to 2nd Army Area.

10 Jul 1917 - Mont Kemmel
112th Bde. relieved 63rd Bde in support. Battn moved to KEMMEL HILL taking over camp from 8th Lincoln. Regt.

Enemy aeroplanes very active - four of our balloons brought down E. of KEMMEL.

Capt.A.T.Hitch rejoined & took over B.Coy.

Heavy shelling all day. Alot [sic] of men feeling effects of new gas used by the enemy.

Thirty men evacuated suffering from gas - some very bad cases.
