Codicil, now living in Bedford, leaving land allotted to him under Clophill
Enclosure and now in occ. Mr. Odell, blacksmith, and also mess. and
land at Olney, Bucks., and the two cottages bought at Stoke Golding,
Bucks., to niece Ann Brooks.
Cottages lately bought at Maulden, once estates of Geo. Exton and
Thos. Odell, to Eliz. Brooks, the illegitimate dau. of niece Sarah
Field.
Wishes to be buried in church of Clophill as near decd. brother
Thos. Brooks as possible, and niece Ann Brooks apptd executrix in
place of Thos. Brooks.

Codicil, late of Bedford, now of Clophill. He revokes legacies to
nephews Wm Arnold and to John Arnold, sons of late sister Alice
Arnold, as the testator has lately spent a considerable sum in
building a substantial house at Maulden which will descend to them
by virtue of will of testator's late brother Ste. Brooks.
His estate at Hexton Herts., to niece Mary Chipperfield, now of
Pulloxhill.
Estate in Back St., Clophill, now in occ. Jas. Milward, to Eliz.
Brooks, the illeg. dau. of niece Sarah Field.
Revokes appointment of Jos. Pulley in will as exor., and puts in
his place Robt. Furze of Ampthill and Thos. Phipps of Clophill,
co-partners and successors in trade to testator's late brother
Thos. Brooks, they to have 10 each.
Poor of Maulden to have 5 in bread instead of 3.
5 to youngest son of his attorney Mr. Wm. Greene of Ampthill to
buy him a watch.
