- TitleAbstract of Will of James Weston of Biggleswade, Gentleman: - his wife Elizabeth Weston and his friends George Henry Cooper of Clifton, gentleman and Robert Garland of Hornsey [Middlesex], architect were appointed executrix and executors; - to George Henry Cooper and Robert Garland 50 each clear of legacy duty; - to Elizabeth Weston 500 for her sole use and all his household effects, horses, carriages etc.; - to his daughters Elizabeth Weston Weston and Sarah Ann Weston whilst living unmarried with their mother 50 per annum or, if living elswehere unmarried, 75 per annum; - to his daughters Elizabeth Weston Weston and Sarah Ann Weston marriage portions of 3,000 each, unless marrying under age without consent, in which case the portion should be deferred until they attained the age of consent; - if either daughter died unmarried and under age before his son James Joseph Weston came of age the marriage portion of the survivor should be increased by 1,500; - if his son died under age the marriage portion of his daughters should be increased by 1,500 each; - to his wife the income of all his real personal estate while his son was under age, or if he died under age then whilst his daughters were under age, or if his daugfhters both died under age; - executors, during his wife's entitlement to the income from his real and peronal estates, could sell any real estate, except his dwelling house; - his wife to receive 240 per annum from any invested monies; - if his son reached 21 he directed that all residue of real and personal estate, except that providing 240 annuity to his wife, be valued, the total bought into hotchpot with his daughters' marriage portions and divided amongst the children
