    Appointment: Parties: (i) Thomas Alston of Odell Castle, esquire, and Justinian Alston, major in Royal Cornish Miners, esquire, his eldest son; (ii) Frederick Booth of New Street, Spring Gardens [Middlesex], esquire and William Haselwood of Lincolns Inn [Middlesex], esquire, barrister at law Reciting: - indenture of bargain and sale of 8 Feb 1814 between (1) Thomas Alston; (2) Justinian Alston; (3) William Green, gentleman; (4) Gilbert Jones, gentleman; (5) Francis Green, esquire and John Green, merchant (6) William Tyringham Praed, banker and David Caddell the younger, esquire in which, by two common recoveries suffered in that year the properties (a)-(h) below were conveyed (subject to an annual rent charge of 280 made in an indenture of 6 Jun 1778 for Elizabeth Alston, now widow of Thomas Alston, 4,000 as portions for the children of Thomas and Elizabeth Alston and a term of 1,500 years to secure them) to the use of (5) for 500 years (which had subsequently been determined) upon trusts with the intention of paying an annuity of 650 to (2), to be increased to 800 if he married; remainder to (1), remainder to Elizabeth Alston who received an additional 720; to use of (6) for 600 years upon trusts to further secure the payment of the 720 Operative Part: - (ii) lent 7,000 to (i) on security of (a)-(h) below Property: (a) Manor of Cowesby [Yorkshire]; (b) messuages and tenements in Cowesby in several occupations of Robert Hill, Roger Hudson, William Story, Matthew Wright, Samuel Ella, Thomas Peacock, John Brown and John Alley; (c) Rectory of Cowesby; (d) Manor of Thixendale [Yorkshire]; (e) messuages, tenements and farms in Thixendale in occupation of Luke Walmsley; (f) six sheep pastures or sheep walks in York Wold called Pluckhome, Pehome, Fotherdalehome, the Inges, Broadhome and Little Warehome containing 500 acres of land in Thixendale in occupation of Luke Walmsley; (g) Manor of Foston [on the Wolds, Yorkshire]; (h) messuage, tenement and farm in Foston and Kilham [Yorkshire] occupied by William Drinkwater Witnesses: - Julius Hutchinson of Lincolns Inn, gentleman; - William Green of Salisbury Square [London], gentleman; - Thomas Lyons, butler to Frederick Booth
