Campion, Oakley, carpenter, Wm. Francis, Bedford, constable; regarding theft of two five pound Bedford bank notes from the jacket of Jn. Campion who was helping in the building of a house at "the End of the Town of Bedford". Two purses containing 6 pounds 1 shilling were pointed out to the constable by the boy, hidden in a stack of new bricks.
