  • Title
    Occurrence Report of PC Robert King Stearn stationed at Arlesey. He was on duty in the High Street at Arlesey when he heard Obadiah Houghton of Arlesey making use of very bad language just outside the Crown Public House. He was drunk. PC Stearn requested him to go away which he did. PC Stearn heard him again later on using bad language in Back Street. Again he told him to go home asked him to stop the bad language. Houghton argued with PC Stearn but eventually went swearing away up the Asylum Road. PC Stearn said he would summons him as he was drunk and riotous. Fine 2/-. Costs 8/6 or 14 days.
