- TitleInformation of Ruth Burnage, grandmother to Arthur Warner, living near the Anchor, Biggleswade. Arthur had come home from school at lunchtime and his face was bleeding. As a consequence she took him to Mrs Bayley's in Chapel Fields. 3 dogs came out of a barn and flew at her petticoats. They left her and flew to the child biting him about the head and legs. George Cooper, Palace Street, John Bailey, Biggleswade and Moseley of Beeston came and took the dogs away from the child. She took her grandson to Mr Stevens to treat his wounds. Information of Arthur Warner, 6 years old, who said that he was going home from school across Chapel Fields. When he passed Mrs Bayley's house a white terrier dog ran out of her yard and bit him on the leg and cheek. George Mincey was with him. Mrs Bayley came out and took the dog off him. He went home and told his grandmother (he called her mother) and she took him back to Mrs Bailey's where 3 dogs came out and all of them bit him. He was taken to Mr Stevens.
