Report of PC Thomas Hebbes stationed at Stotfold. He was on duty at the farm premises of Charles Langham at Stotfold. He found Charles Gentle in a wagon. When he searched Gentle he found a box of matches. gentle was committed for trial charged with setting fire to a barn at Stotfold. He had set fire to the same premises the previous year. 3 weeks hard labour.
