Title
Assignment to attend inheritance. Lengthy deed.(1) Edward Fleet
of Northall in Edlesborough Bucks. (2) Rebecca Osborn of Todd.
widow.(3) Will. Osborn of Todd., carpenter. (4) Daniel Osborn of
Todd., farmer. Recites assignment of mortgage of property as
below by John Gregory and Mary his wife and Joseph Potts of Todd.
to Ed. Fleet of Chalgrave, 26 Dec.1763; recites also mortgage of
23 Nov. 1753 by Joseph Potts to Henry Potts of messuage in
Todd. situated between the house of Mr Leake and that of Edmund
Collins, with smithy adjoining ; also recites assignment of 1 Jan.
1765 by Mary Potts the elder, widow of Henry Potts to her daughter
Mary Gregory. And whereas the said Ed. Fleet died, appointing Ed. Fleet,
Thomas Read, James Baker, Will. Hollis and Thomas James Page his
executors, by will dated 2 March 1775; and whereas Joseph Potts
by his will dated 30 Nov. 1750, bequeathed the said messuage to
Thomas Potts, and whereas the latter died during the formers life-
time, so that the said Joseph Potts died intestate, leaving as his
heir his brother John Potts, who by his will dated 3 Apl.1798
left the said property to his daughter Rebecca Osborn for life;
and whereas the said John Potts has repaid the principal sum.
Edward Fleet hereby assigns all his right in the above
Property to Daniel Osborn in trust for Rebecca for life, and on
her death, for Will. Osborn. Witn. C. Austin jun. clerk to
Mr Eagles.
