- TitleAbstract of Title of Trustees of Late Henry Broughton to Copyhold Estates of manor of Woburn Abbotts abstracted by David Willis of Leighton Buzzard, attorney and [John] Gotobed "for purchaser" with notes "For Mr.Cruise's Opinion on behalf of a Purchaser"; abstracting R6/63/28/1-12, 14, 18-20, 22-25, 27-28 and 30 and will of Henry Broughton of 8 Oct 1794 in which he devised all his copyhold estate to George Wallis, William Wallis and William Wooton upon trust for sale Note by William Cruise on 24 Oct 1798: "I have perused this Abstract from which it appears that the Devisees of Henry Broughton may make a Good Title to the Copyholds comprised therein to a Purchaser, Subject to the Observations in fo.3" The observations on Folio 3 revolve around a note regarding R6/63/28/27 which reads "Benjamin Willis was a Builder & new erected this Cott: on ye Toft of Scite where two cotts stood & ye Admission of William Bodison doth not appear" on which Cruise observed "No - Willis's Int expired on the Ind of the 21 yrs & Bodinson was admitted on a grant from the Lord"
