Folio 153 - Reynold Tomson of Ampthill, made 17 Dec. 1558 pr. 15 Feb. 1558/9. Soul to Almighty God, our blessed lady St. Mary and to all the company of heaven, and burial in churchyard of Ampthill. To the mother church of Lincoln 2d.; to the high altar of Ampthill 8d.; to the All Souls light 12d.; to the bells 4d.. To wife Elizabeth all worldly goods both moveable and unmoveable for her lifetime, including the house in Ampthill which testator now inhabits. On wife’s death all his goods to be distributed as she shall think best, and she to be sole executrix with Thomas Mydleton of Ampthill to be overseer and he to have for his work 3s. 4d.. Witnesses Thomas Medelton, Harry Davey, Edmond Bastion, Harry Pigott.
