    Folio 152 - Robert Thomas of Mogerhanger in parish of Blunham made 13 Sep. pr. 5 Nov. 1558. Soul to Almighty God, Our Lady St. Mary and all the company of heaven and burial in Blunham churchyard. To the high altar 8d.; to mother church of Lincoln 2d.; to the bells 8d.. To wife Felys 2 beasts one of them a brown cow, the other a black heiffer, also 4 sheep to be chosen by herself, and the grey colt. Son Robert Thomas to have the occupation of half of testator’s farm, and testator’s wife Felys and son Richard to have the other half as long as wife remains a widow, and if she remarry then she is to have her part, and go her way. To son Robert a sorrel horse, a brown horse, a cow called Fylke, a black heifer, 5 sheep, a brown bullock, a pied steer. To Richard a horse called Hobbe, the brown colt in the pasture, a cow called Lyly, a pied heifer, and 4 sheep. To Joane Kynge 2 quarters of barley. To Katheryne Foxke 2 quarters of barley. To Joane Foxe 3 bushel of barley. To the children of Richard Kynge 2 sheep. To the children of William Foxe 2 sheep. Executors to be wife Felis and son Robert, and all testator’s goods are to be divided in three parts to go to testator’s wife, to Robert and to Richard. Overseer to be William Peake who is to have 3s. 4d.. If Robert should marry then Richard is to take his part and go his way. Witnesses Nicholas Fisher, Phelipe Witforthe.
