To the ornaments of the high altar 4d., to the two side altars 2d. each and to the bells 12d.. To son William testator’s house and land. Should son William die without issue then house and land to descend to son John, and so from the eldest to the youngest. Son William to pay to son John 20s. when he comes to the age of 21 years and the day of his marriage. To son Robert 13s. 4d.; to son Henrie 13s. 4d.; to son Nicholas 13s. 4d., and these legacies to be paid when sons come to the age of 21 years. If any of these die, their part to go to son William. Wife Margaret and son William to have testator’s term in his house and land and to occupy it jointly together to help bring up testator’s children, and should wife Margaret remarry, then she is to leave and son William to occupy the house and land and his team. To wife Margaret 2 kine and a bullock, and to son William one cow and a bullock. Every child to have one sheep, that is sons John, Robert, Henrie, Nicholas, and daughters Elizabethe, and Sora. Son William to have testator’s green coffer, his best pot and one of his little pans, 4 pieces of pewter, one pair of sheets, the old cupboard and one candlestick. Daughter Elizabethe to have the red coffer, one pair of sheets, 2 pieces of pewter. Daughter Sora to have a pair of sheets. Remainder to household stuff to be at the discretion of wife Margaret. His daughter Fraunces to have a pair of sheets, 2 pieces of pewter, one candlestick,. The rest of his goods to be at the discretion of his wife Margaret and his son William whom are to be executors. Overseers to be Nicholas Abbat and John Mathewe. Witnesses John Barwell, [?]Henry Abbat.
