  • Title
    Folio 113d - William Frauncis of Bedford St. Maris made 27 Aug. pr. 16 Sep. 1557. Soul to almighty God, our blessed lady St. Mary the virgin and the holy company of heaven, and his burial in “holy sanctuary where as it shall pleasse my executors”. His house to go to Alis his wife and to George Kytchynge testator’s son-in-law for the lifetimes of the said Alis and George, and on the death of the survivor then house to go to testator’s daughter Agnes, the wife of George Kytchynge, and to the heirs of her body, but should Agnes die without issue, then house to go to testator’s daughter Jane, wife of William Payneter and the heirs of her body, and in default of such heirs, then house to go to whichever of the kin of wife Alis that she shall name. However if wife by necessity needs to sell the house during her lifetime, then she is to give to his two daughters such sum as wife shall think proper. Residue to wife Alis, executrix, with George Kytchyne executor, with supervisor Mr. [?]Mylwrd master of St. John the Baptist in Bedford. Witnesses John Meygott, John Frances, Christopher Comendall.
