    Folio 77 - John Dey of Tilbroke made 25 May pr. 15 June 1557. Soul to almighty God, our lady St. Mary and the holy company of heaven, and burial in chuchyard of Tilbrooke. To mother church of Lincoln 2d.; to the repairs of the church of Tilbrooke 12d.. To son William testator’s copyhold house. To wife Agnes 2 ½ acres of barley and one acre of pease every year during her lifetime at the charge of son William. To son William 5 horses and the carts and cart gear and plough and plough gear, one cow and 6 sheep. To daughters Elizabeth, Avis and Ellyn a quarter of barley to be given them on the day of their marriage, and to each of them 2 sheep. To daughters Elizabeth and Avis one cow each to be given them on their marriage day, and to daughter Ellyn a bullock which is to be kept at charge of son William until it has a calf. To his son John the brown cow and 6 sheep to be given him after sheering time. To wife Agnes for this year 5 acres of barley, half an acre of wheat and half an acre of pease, also all his household implements. Also each year a hog at [?]slaughter time. To son William the residue of his grain. To wife Agnes the chamber next the street for the term of her life. He asks son William to keep for wife Agnes during her lifetime 2 beasts as he keeps his own, and use to keep them all the straw and chaff that comes of the 2 ½ acres of barley and one acre of pease.
