Statement from Maria Pike, Principal Teacher of the National School for Girls Biggleswade that Elizabeth Webster did not attend school on 19 April 1877 and that she had only made 23 attendances during the 8 weeks in which the school had been open previous to the 21 April 1877. Request of George Mosely, School Attendance Inspector for Biggleswade, at Arlesey that Joseph Webster of Back Street, Biggleswade, parent of Elizabeth Webster be summoned to appear before the Justices of the Peace.
