Occurrence Report of PC Eli Bayes stationed at Henlow. He saw Henry Clarke, 14, Labourer of Luffenhall, Herts, driving 14 bullocks along the highway at Henlow. The boy had a certificate signed by Herbert Matthews, Inspector for Herts and countersigned by J H W Fellows, Magistrate for Herts. The boy was driving them from his master's, Walter Islips, Farmer, Howells Farm, Weston, Herts via Baldock and Shefford to James Harris of Bedford. Fine 6d. Costs 11/4.
