    Deed of Partition Parties: (i) Henry Rock of Woburn, Beds, farrier; (ii) William Rock of Woburn, yeoman and Mary his wife; (iii) Robert Rock of Stoney Stratford [Buckinghamshire], blacksmith and Margaret his wife; (iv) George Rock of Woburn, carrier; (v) Samuel Rock of Woburn, yeoman; (vi) Susannah Rock of Woburn, spinster; (vii) John Circuitt of Woburn, yeoman and Elizabeth his wife [late Elizabeth Rock]; (viii) Thomas Shaw of Woburn, auctioneer. Reciting: - will of Arthur Rock late of Woburn, blacksmith dated 2nd Oct 1795 whereby he devised all his property in Woburn, Husborne Crawley, Aspley Guise and Ridgmont and elsewhere in Bedfordshire unto and equally amongst all his children living at his decease, and Arthur appointed his brother Henry Rock and son in law John Circuitt as joint executors; - Arthur had seven children living at his decease: William, Robert, George, Samuel, Susannah Rock and Elizabeth wife of said John Circuitt; - Arthur’s will proved in the prerogative court of Canterbury by John Circuitt alone, Henry Rock having since died; - before his death, Arthur Rock sold his estates in Ridgmont and surrendered his three copyhold cottages on the W side of London End, Woburn to the use of his will; - will of Henry Rock the elder late of Woburn, farrier, deceased dated 5th Jul 1799 whereby he devised all his freehold and copyhold property in Woburn and elsewhere in Bedfordshire unto the said seven children of his brother Arthur Rock ; - the greater part of Henry’s estates were copyhold, the freehold parts being 6,7 & 9 Duck Lane, Woburn; Operative: - (i)-(vii) make a division and partition of Arthur and Henry Rock’s freehold and copyhold estates in the manner following: - (a-b) to (i); - (c) to (ii); - (d) to (iii); - (e) to (iv); - (f) to (v); - (g) to (vi); - (h) to (vii). Property: (a) 3 messuages on E side of Bedford Street, Woburn being 22, 23 and 24 and in the occupations of Alice Goodman, George Sealey and William Sear, the land of Katherine Reddall lying on the S; (b) 2 messuages in the Great Yard, Woburn numbered 25 & 26 in the occupations of John Clare and James Hopkins and adjoining the back part of (a); (c) 5 messuages with barns in the Great Yard, Woburn numbered 29, 39, 31, 32 and 33 and in the several occupations of Thomas Pye, widow Meakins, John Manton, John Langford and John Leighton; (d) 3 messuages with barns and gardens at Aspley Guise, Beds in the occupations of William Warr, William Sharp and Zachariah Collier; (e) 2 messuages, 4 barns, 2 gardens at Husborn Crawley, Beds in the occupations of John Turrell and John Smart with the 4 several closes of arable and pasture ground belonging of 8a 3r 24p in the occupation of (iv). Portions of the four closes are part of inclosed land awarded to the said Arthur Rock and other parts are inclosures taken in exchange with the Duke of Bedford and the Feoffees of Crawley Charity Estates; (f) 2 messuages in the Great Yard, Woburn numbered 27 and 28 in the occupations of John Jerums and Edward Webb and situate between the houses of (i) and (ii); (g) 2 messuages with barns and gardens on the W side of Duck Lane, Woburn numbered 10 and 11 and in the occupation of William Goodman, labourer and William Goodman, cordwainer, bounded S by premises formerly of Benjamin Willis and now of George Hall; (h) 4 messuages with barns and gardens on the W side of Duck Lane numbered 6,7,8 and 9 and in the occupations of Lucy Perry, Robert Jones, Thomas Parrott and Elizabeth Miller, bounded S by premises of (vi) and N by premises of Peter Fane; Covenants: - (i) covenants to keep the tiled part of the gutter or valley between 26 Great Yard in the occupation of James Hopkins and 27 Great Yard in the occupation of John Jeroms in good repair; - (i) covenants to produce deeds relating to (a-h) [see schedule] to support title of (ii) and (v) when needed.
