Declaration of Joseph Circuitt of Woburn, Beds, yeoman concerning the title to property in Bedford Street and The Great Yard, Woburn: - I am one of the children of John Circuitt; - will of John Circuitt dated 8th Mar 1832 whereby he devised said property to my brother Richard and in default of Richard having any children to the children of my late sister, Sarah Shaw; - father John survived Elizabeth his wife – my late mother; - brother Richard always lived in the same neighbourhood as I did and I saw him constantly up to the time of his decease in Apr 1843 and he never was married; - I recollect the marriage of my late sister Sarah to John Shaw; - I knew all of her children of whom five only lived beyond infancy: John Circuitt Shaw, Sarah Shaw, Joseph Shaw, Henry Shaw and Mary Ann now the wife of Henry Lucas; - signed by Joseph Circuitt and extracted by John Green, master extractor in chancery.
