Copy deed of covenant to produce title deeds Parties: (i) John, Duke of Bedford; (ii) William Hurley of Woburn, Beds, inn holder. Reciting: - (ii) has recently purchased (a) by public auction for £500; - conveyance by lease and release dated 11th and 12th Sep 1816 and made between (1) Samuel Davis and John Morris (2) George Christmas and Ann his wife; James Egram and Sarah his wife; John Perrin; Pattey Elliot and (ii) and Maria his wife (3) (ii) (4) Thomas Day whereby (a) was conveyed to (4) in trust for (3); - R6/63/16/36; - (i) to retain title deeds which relate both to (a) and the land conveyed to (i) by recited conveyance dated 12th Sep 1816. Property: (a) close of pasture, land and premises called Barn Close at Woburn of 3a in the occupation of (ii). Operative: - (i) covenants to produce title deeds concerning (a) to (ii) as and when required by law. - including schedule of title deeds, all which have been catalogued in R6/63/16. - intended to be witnessed and signed by John Holgate of Woburn Abbey and Thomas Pearce Brown of Norfolk Street.
