Release Parties: (i) John, Duke of Bedford; (ii) Eve Martin of Woburn, Beds, widow and Mary Martin of Woburn, spinster (one of the daughters of Eve): (ii) Richard Smith of Woburn, Beds, gentleman and Joseph Cooke of Eversholt, Beds, malster. - Eve Martin is seized for life to a moiety of a copyhold close in Woburn known as Houghtons Close and Mary Martin is seized of the reversion upon her death; - it was agreed that (i) would convey (a-c) to (ii) and (ii) would surrender one moiety of the Upper or W part of Houghtons Close in Woburn of 2a 14p to (i) for his use forever; Operative: - in consideration of the said agreement (i) conveys and enfranchises (a-c) to (iii) Property: (a-c) Same as R6/63/16/3 Habendum: - unto (iii) to the use of Eve Martin until her decease, after to the use of Mary Martin. - signed by (i), (ii) & (iii); - witnessed and signed by Samuel Davis, Goddard Urlin and Charles Pyne.
