Draft transfer of mortgage (lots of hand-written corrections) Parties: (i) John Ashley of Staines [Middlesex], gentleman; (ii) John Cathles Hill of Southwood Hall, Highgate [Middlesex], brick manufacturer; (iii) Charles Henry Bergne of 62 Fairlawn Grove [Middlesex] and Marian Selina Archer Thompson of Montrose Weston Park, Bath [Somerset], spinster. Reciting: - HN10/346/9/2; - Susanna Morris died on the 5th Nov 1903; - will of Mary Jane Morris dated 6th Nov 1903 whereby William Samuel Smith was appointed executor; - William Samuel Smith died on the 21st Dec 1905; - letters of administration for the will of Mary was granted to (i) on the 8th Mar 1906; - said sum of £5000 is still owing on the recited mortgage. Operative: - in consideration of £5000 (i) transfers the recited mortgage and all interest to come to (iii); - (i) at the request of (ii) grants (a-c) to (iii) as security for repayment.
