    Copy will of Harris Thurloe Brace esq. of Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire After all debts paid, - to Rev James Wadman Alexander, a Fellow of Trinity College, Oxford all real estates in the town and county of Bedford for ever; also all books and manuscripts, fine arms of every sort and description, both here and at Mrs Taggs in the Market Place of Bath - to my great niece Elizabeth Browne, daughter of William Browne esq. of Bedford Row, London for her own separate use, independent of any husband, all my capital stock or interest in the 3% Consolidated Bank Annuities now in my name at the Bank of England with all due dividends and proceeds, except so much as shall be sufficient to redeem the Land Tax of my Bedfordshire estates - to my late servant Thomas Dawbiney £50, and I release him from payment of a Bond Debt of £200 and all interest thereon - to Henry Beare my present servant, but only if he is living in my service at the time of my decease, all my clothes, linen and wearing apparel both here and at Mrs Taggs, also £50 - to my godson John Alexander the younger of Bedford Row all my freehold estate in Middlesex and all my real and personal estate and property not disposed of elsewhere Executor - John Alexander Witnessed by William Plaistow, James Swannell of Rickmansworth, Nathaniel W. Odell of same Proved at PCC 19th January 1799, under £10,000
