Will of John Byworth of Aspley Guise, weaver: - bequeathing to his eldest son George his working utensils in his weaver's shop; - bequeathing £5 to his son George; - bequeathing 1/- to his son Robert; - bequeathing 1/- to his son Richard; - devising his cottage with shop, outhouses, barns, orchard and garden in Aspley Guise charged with the above legacies to his son Henry; - willing that his wife Mary have a dwelling in the above cottage for her life as a widow "but if she marry again to be turned out from hence"; - bequeathing to Henry all household furniture, wearing apparel and utensils; - devising and bequeathing residue of real and personal estate to Henry; - appointing Henry sole executor; - witnesses: Catherine Bowles; John Page; John Foster; - attached probate of 22 May 1762 in Archdeaconry of Bedford
