Leaflet advertising the sale of copies of a painting, specially commissioned by the friends of the Bedfordshire Regiment from Joseph Gray recording the meeting of the 1st and 2nd Battalions of the Bedfordshire Regiment at Locre on 6th Nov 1914 during the First Battle of Ypres. Copies were sold at £3/3/0 for artist's proofs and £1/1/0 for copies, proceeds going to the Benevolent Fund for widows and dependants of the dead. The leaflet gives a brief description of the events preceding and during the meeting the painting recorded [ex WV 1/5/2]
