- TitleOccurrence Report of William Braybrooks, Stable Boy of Tempsford who worked for Colonel Stuart at Tempsford Hall. He was walking with Thomas Harris, Blacksmith, George Stokes, Labourer and Charles Storey Labourer, all of Tempsford. They went into Mr Richard Allen's Meadow and saw some fowls by the side of the river. Harris, Storey and Stokes ran after them and drove one of them into the river. Harris took it out of the river after a few minutes, then threw it back in again. When they saw someone coming, they ran away. The fowl got out of the river and went towards Mr Allen's house but was much distressed. Braybrooks told Harris, Storey and Stokes not to meddle with the fowls or they would get into trouble. Dismissed with a caution fees.
