Letter from J. Osborne Morris of the Office of the Official Receiver in Bankruptcy, 68a Castle Street, Canterbury to Frederic Tanqueray… 'I note as to the sheep paid for by the Debtor's Father and also as to the alleged forged cheque. With regard to the disposal of the Debtor's milk round I enclose a copy of a letter I received on Saturday from Mr. E.L. Gardener who is an Auctioneer and Valuer in this district and well conversant with the disposal of a business of this nature and in view of the circumstances stated in his letter I deemed it advisable to settle the matter on Saturday afternoon by accepting the offer of £70. I think you will agree in the circumstances the best possible result has been obtained.'
